Our family portraits, by yours truly...

We took some family pictures yesterday. This was my first time using the camera's timer... pretty exciting. This is my new favorite place for pictures... the big orange wall.
Morning shadows were a headache, but I actually LIKE them in this one...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one...
Porter was actually licking that candy cane... yummmmm.
Setting the timer and running on this bridge was actually really scary... BUT WORTH IT!

If I look out of breath in any of these... it's cuz I AM!

We had so much fun doing this... I hope I can talk my 3 boys into doing it again soon.

Mr. J, Ms. G and family...

J and G's family... aren't they cute? They are so much fun...
I was laughing a good 89% of the time.

I love how non-posed these pictures are... their crazy, fun personalities show through. You can tell they enjoy being together.
Thanks for the laughs and the fun!

I'm embarassed!

I totally forgot about these. A couple weeks ago, I was just playing around with my camera and took about 20 pictures of my neighbors and their cousins from out of town.
They were so cute to let me.

I'm sorry I choked, Sarah! But I'm not sorry your kids are so stinkin' cute!

Family B.

Hello, Family B. I had so much fun with you guys the other day! And even though the elk were teaching us the facts of life, you still look great!
(Maybe that's why your smiles were so big and no one blinked.) Most of their pics were in color... I'm just in a Brown/White mood today.

Macro lense...

LOVE THAT LENSE!!

Soooooo cute...

I hope you like your pictures, guys. I can't wait to show you the rest!

Tagged...

I've been tagged... thanks, Michelle. 6 random, unspectacular quirks about Allison.
Hmmmmm......

1. I hate getting into my bed with rough feet. I can't stand the snagging! YUCK! Just writing about it gives me the hee-bees. So every night I slather lotion (usually MIRACLE FOOT REPAIR) all over my tired dogs.

2. I have a FLAT head. Not the normal flat... it's EXTREMLY flat. Therefore, I hate it when people touch the top of my head.

3. I'm double jointed. Not sure exactly what that means, but I was recently told that I look VERY double jointed. (VERY? So there are different degrees of double-jointed-ness?) Thanks, I think. If anyone knows what double jointed means... (besides 'having double the joints than my normal fellow humans'... I figured that much out!)... please let me know.

4. Every year at Halloween time I have a nightmare that the Trick-or-Treaters start ringing my doorbell and I haven't bought any candy for them. I wake in a cold sweat.

5. When I encounter blood, see something frightening (snakes!), talk about stitches, hear about gruesome accidents, or ANYTHING like unto these... I get a pain in my crotch. AM I ALONE?... I don't know, but I seem to be the only person willing to talk about it. If you ever show me your re-attached finger or your deep knife wound, you can bet that I'll hunch over due to crotch pain.

6. I can touch my tongue to my nose... and beyond.

The J. Family...

So, I did this photo shoot last week and I got home and MY FLY WAS DOWN!!! Awesome, Allison! No wonder this family was full of smiles... their photographer was a dork! The most difficult part of these particular pictures were the trees and all the weird shadows they made. I think we managed to get a few good ones, though.

These guys don't take a bad photo! Thanks so much, sweet family... it was fun.
I can't wait to go Geo-Cashing now!!

Fall pics with family...

I'm going to take a couple families to this location and I wanted to go there and check it out.
My sister and her family were nice enough to let me practice on them.
Here are some of my faves...

We FINALLY got this kid to smile (below)! I'm soooo happy!!

Ok, so besides the DOG, my biggest trouble-makers were MOM and DAD...
Excuse me... the camera's over here...This will go on my wall. She's so hot right now...I think I got ONE good one of those two.... Stinkers!

What a handsome family!

Thanks so much, guys!

Not only were you a big help to me, but I had a great time doing it.

Judi's family...

Last week I took pictures for my cute friend and her darling family. It was a lot of fun, but shooting while snow is falling is a little harder than I anticipated. Not only did my camera have a hard time focusing on what I wanted it to focus on, but I also have to photoshop all the white blobs off everyone. I think it's totally worth it, though!!...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snow in these!
Here are some of my favorites...

Thanks guys! I can't wait to play with you again!
